I've already told you about the gross things Lucas does, so I have to share some of the funny stuff he said today. He is always making us laugh with the crazy things he comes up with.
Tonight we read the book, Love You Forever. I thought it was going pretty well, until I turned to the page where the son is rocking his baby and I totally lost it. Poor Lucas didn't know what to think of his blubbering Mommy. So Matt explained that one day, Lucas will be a Daddy, and that's when he informed us that he currently has a baby in his tummy, "a black one with a white head." And her name is "baby duck".
Oh boy.
As I was putting him to bed, Lucas informed me rather seriously that he is growing up. When I asked him why, he said it was because he eats his green beans and broccoli. He then pointed to the side of his mouth to show me the beginnings of his new beard, which he's been growing for a couple days now.
Where does he come up with this stuff?
