Fears

Today has been busy with packing. Lots and lots of packing. Tomorrow afternoon, Matt, Lucas and I will board a plane headed for Denver Colorado to spend the weekend with friends at a wedding. Neither Matt nor I have flown since our honeymoon, and while Lucas takes many trips flying in Daddy's arms, this will be his first time on a real plane. To be honest, I'm a little anxious about the whole thing. How is Lucas going to react? Did we pack enough? Did we pack too much? Will we make our connecting flight in Dallas? Is it still safe to fly? Amazingly enough, Lucas did not eat any sand, but he did mange to somehow get it into his ears! The waves frightened Lucas a bit, but he loved playing in the shallow pools the tide had created on the beach. We'll post pictures soon! Our journey didn't end at Surfside. After arriving back home around 1:00 Friday morning, we slept for a few hours, did some laudry, and repacked the car for a trip down to Forsyth, Georgia. There...
